A personal orientation instrument · closed prerelease ↓
A check-in takes a reading of six signals. They are readings, not verdicts — positions on an axis, not grades. High readings invite a next move, not an accusation.
The urge to move that your body is carrying.
Bracing, contraction, stored readiness.
How readable your internal signal is right now.
How steady attention is around the thing you meant to do.
Emotional force, urgency, compression.
The pull away from demands under overload, ambiguity, or shame.
Six quick readings, gentle enough to do in most states. Rough input is still data.
One calm surface that orients you — where you are, what might help — in plain, qualitative language. No scores, no grades.
Soul suggests; you decide. If you connect an AI provider, Coach can read your current state and talk it through with you — and it never changes anything without your confirmation.
Soul is local-first. Your core app data lives on your device and in the local folder you choose — readable, portable, yours. There is no account requirement and no always-on upload. Optional beta research sharing is consent-based, explained plainly, and can be changed or revoked in Settings at any time.
Not a moral scorecard, a diagnosis engine, or a therapist substitute. Soul supports orientation — not diagnosis, treatment, therapy, crisis support, or emergency monitoring. It does not ask you to prove you are doing wellness correctly. It asks for enough state to support the next useful move.
