These terms govern your use of Soul, including the iOS app, Apple Watch app, local storage features, Apple Health integration, Coach, and optional third-party AI provider support in the current Phase 1 non-EU/EEA TestFlight / App Store release.

By using Soul, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Soul.
Soul is intended for users aged 17 or over. Do not use Soul if you are under 17. If you are 17 but not the legal age of majority where you live, you may use Soul only with permission from a parent or guardian where required by law.
Soul is a wellness and orientation app. It helps users check in, reflect, organize, and orient across health, work, and wellbeing.
Soul is not medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or emergency response. Soul does not replace a doctor, therapist, counsellor, emergency service, crisis line, or other qualified professional.
If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you need immediate help, contact local emergency services, a crisis line, or another appropriate urgent support service in your area.
Soul does not monitor you for emergencies and does not contact emergency services, crisis lines, clinicians, family members, or other people on your behalf.
Soul stores core app data on your device and in the local folder you choose or the app-managed local storage location Soul creates for you. You are responsible for the folders, files, backups, sync services, and device security you choose to use with Soul.
If you choose a folder that is synced by another provider, that provider may copy or process the files under its own terms. Soul does not control third-party folder sync providers.
Apple Health access is optional and permissioned through Apple. Soul uses Apple Health data only to provide context inside the app. Soul does not write data back to Apple Health in the current release.
Soul's health and fitness signals are for personal context and reflection. They are not medical advice and are not a basis for making medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, safety, or emergency decisions.
If you enable health or fitness context in Coach, Apple Health-derived summaries that you authorise may be included in the message you choose to send to your selected AI route.
AI features are optional and user-triggered. When you use Coach or another AI feature, Soul may send your message and selected Coach context to the configured AI route.
The current release supports local Coach behaviour and optional third-party AI provider routes that you connect or configure. Soul-managed AI routing is not active in the current release.
When you use your own third-party AI provider credentials or sign-in, Soul does not operate that provider. Provider access, terms, limits, billing, retention, model behaviour, and account status are between you and that provider. You must comply with the usage policies and other terms of any AI provider you connect.
If Soul later enables managed AI, updated terms and privacy notices will explain the managed route before it is enabled. Managed AI may process your message, selected context, route/model information, usage metadata, and entitlement or pseudonymous install identifier for the purposes of providing Coach, enforcing limits, troubleshooting reliability, preventing abuse, and supporting billing if paid features are active.
AI output may be wrong, incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use it. Do not rely on AI output for medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, financial, emergency, or safety decisions.
Soul does not guarantee that AI features will always be available, that a particular model or provider will remain available, or that AI output will produce any specific result.
Some builds may ask whether you want to share optional quality diagnostics. This is intended to help Soul understand setup, check-ins, Today, Coach, tasks, Watch sync, consent controls, reliability, and the overall user loop. It may support private product review by Soul's founder.
Optional quality sharing is off by default and is not required to use Soul. Soul may offer one simple routine metadata diagnostics choice during onboarding, and if the setting is available, you can change or revoke the separate controls in Settings. Revoking a category stops future collection or upload for that category.
Unless you separately choose Coach Content Sharing or send a support export, routine quality uploads should use semantic events and coarse metadata rather than raw notes, raw journal text, raw task text, raw Coach prompts or replies, screenshots, provider credentials, raw Apple Health values, or full local data folder contents.
Coach Content Sharing is optional and separate from metadata diagnostics. If you enable it, Soul may receive the full Coach turn, including your message, Coach's reply, and selected context. Selected context may include excerpts from notes, journal, or task details you allowed into Coach. Provider credentials are never included.
If you choose to share screenshots, screen recordings, support exports, raw Coach packets, prompts, replies, or files, you are responsible for checking that you are comfortable sharing that material and that it does not include secrets, credentials, or sensitive third-party data you do not have authority to share.
Soul may use optional quality sharing material privately to understand the product, improve reliability, and support private founder product review. Soul will not use your raw content, quotes, screenshots, or content-derived anecdotes in public or external material without separate express consent for that use. Soul does not sell quality sharing data, does not use it for advertising, and does not share it with data brokers or use it for cross-app tracking.
No Soul Plus subscription or paywall is active in the current release.
Any future subscriptions, Soul Plus features, managed AI routing, trials, prices, renewal terms, cancellation terms, refund handling, usage limits, or paywall disclosures are not active until they are shown in the app and covered by updated terms and privacy notices.
These terms are concluded between you and Tricker Labs LTD, not with Apple. Tricker Labs LTD, not Apple, is responsible for Soul and its content.
Your license to use Soul is a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including applicable usage rules for Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Tricker Labs LTD is responsible for providing maintenance and support for Soul as described in these terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Soul.
To the extent any warranty applies under these terms or applicable law, Tricker Labs LTD is responsible for that warranty. If Soul fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for Soul to you where required by law or App Store terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Soul, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a warranty failure are Tricker Labs LTD's responsibility.
Tricker Labs LTD, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to Soul or your possession or use of Soul, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, and claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
If a third party claims that Soul or your possession and use of Soul infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Tricker Labs LTD, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging that claim to the extent required by these terms or applicable law.
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a US government embargo or designated by the US government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Soul, including Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, Apple Health terms, third-party folder-provider terms, and any AI provider terms that apply to a route you choose.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. When you accept these terms, Apple has the right to enforce the relevant terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If you connect a third-party AI provider account, you are responsible for that account, its credentials, its fees, its terms, and its privacy policy. Soul is not responsible for provider outages, provider account restrictions, provider billing, provider data handling, or provider model behaviour.
Do not enter credentials that you are not authorised to use. Do not share credentials through Soul in ways that violate provider terms.
You agree not to use Soul to:
Soul may limit or suspend access to managed services if they are later introduced and use appears to violate these terms, provider requirements, App Store rules, or applicable law.
Soul may work with Apple frameworks and services, Apple Health, local folder providers, AI model providers, support channels, website hosting providers, and other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical limits.
Soul does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, outages, data practices, model behaviour, billing decisions, or policy changes.
You are responsible for:
Soul may add, change, limit, remove, or discontinue features, providers, models, or usage limits over time. If paid features are later introduced, any payment-specific terms will be shown before purchase.
Soul may be unavailable because of device conditions, Apple Health permissions, provider outages, Apple services, network issues, maintenance, App Store changes, or other causes.
Soul, including its app design, text, software, prompts, documentation, and product language, is owned by Tricker Labs LTD or licensed to it. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Your local notes, check-ins, tasks, and other user-provided content remain yours. You give Soul permission to process that content only as needed to provide the app features you choose to use.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Soul is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or specific outcomes.
Soul does not guarantee that wellness signals, summaries, Coach output, Apple Health-derived context, or suggested actions will be accurate, complete, useful, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
Subject to the paragraph above, Tricker Labs LTD is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, opportunity, device access, or provider access arising from or related to Soul.
Subject to the first paragraph of this section, Tricker Labs LTD's total aggregate liability arising from or related to Soul is capped at the greater of £100 or the fees you paid to Soul in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a UK consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts where applicable. If you live outside the UK, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
Soul may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes to managed AI, subscriptions, account systems, Apple Health handling, or data-sharing practices will be reflected in updated terms before or when those changes are introduced.
